A labour of love

Pumpkin Spice Frappe

It’s October! This has absolutely no significance to an islander like me because we have no true seasons (besides wet and dry) but I’m seeing the Fall posts all over and I’m kind of jealous! Though my trees will stay green all year round, I love the taste of pumpkin soup, and I’m over the moon for coffee so I figured I should just give it a go.

It inspired me to adjust my traditional heart jumping weekly coffee breakfast for a pumpkin spice flavoured treat. Since I rarely drink hot beverages, it was only natural that only a cold version of a pumpkin spice latte would do.

Needless to say, I watched my mom toil to open a can of pumpkin for me (ya’ll please send me a sturdy can opener) and got to work. Well, not literally to work, I made it at home and then took it to work to have a photoshoot. I’m rambling. It’s the coffee. Although I digress, thank goodness for some awesome coworkers and workplace that helped me turn these photos into something I really love.

A pumpkin spice frappe is a cool treat you’ll want to have on those feel good mornings. I especially love the velvety texture that the pumpkin added, and the wake me up kick of the coffee.
